Connect to Breath: This is a 60 minute group class. Mindful breathing is a very basic yet powerful mindfulness practice. The idea is simply to focus your attention on your breathing – to its natural rhythm and flow and the way it feels on each inhale and exhale. Focusing on the breath is particularly helpful because it serves as an anchor– something you can turn your attention to at any time if you start to feel stressed or carried away by negative emotions. You will be led through different breathing techniques, opening up the body and bringing oxygen to the cells throughout.Cost is $30, all supplies are provided however you are welcome to bring your favorite mat, pillow, blanket if you prefer.Meet your guide: Skye (Chelsey)has been working with Nomadic Wellness since 2016. Skye Rae Dawning has cultivated a unique practice through many years of training in the healing arts that include intuitive body work, divination, and spiritual wellness practices. Skye provides group classes such as Connect to Breath, a guided meditation and somatic experience connecting individuals deeply with the body, mind and spirit through Breathwork.
