About this Event
Our Connect Sydney program offers free skills and capacity building opportunities for community, not-for-profit, charitable and other social purpose organisations that operate in or service the City of Sydney’s local area.
This training is primarily for organisations that support and provide services to children, young people, families and communities experiencing or at risk of vulnerability within the City of Sydney local government area.
If you work or volunteer with our community, the incidental conversations you have can be an important opportunity to help support people who’ve experienced abuse and prevent domestic and family violence. In this three-hour workshop you’ll learn about intimate partner and family violence and its impacts, how to identify situations of domestic and family violence and respond with compassion. You’ll also learn how to have supportive conversations with those impacted by domestic violence and services that can help.
Full Stop Australia will be facilitating the face to face workshop.
We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs please contact Vicky Skarlatos on 02 9265 9333 or [email protected]
