Is Flexible Working The New Normal?
In this session, we will look at the most recent changes to the law on flexible working that were introduced in April of this year. We will discuss how far flexible working has progressed since it was first introduced as a legal concept just over 20 years ago.
We will consider how employers should go about responding to requests and how more forward-thinking employers might look to normalise flexibility as part of their working patterns. Finally, we will consider what the legal consequences might be of failing to comply with the new laws and what other practical consequences could arise for employers who refuse to embrace flexibility within the workforce.
