CONNECT POP-UP MOVIE NIGHT: 'BUT I\u2019M A CHEERLEADER' ?In this campy 1999 cult indie classic, naive teenager Megan (Natasha Lyonne) is sent to a conversion therapy camp run by RuPaul when her conservative parents and friends suspect her of being a (gasp!) lesbian. ?Close out Pride Month with Connect Northshore & our fabulous co-sponsor Green Oaks Apothecary for this free pop-up outdoor movie night in Old Towne Slidell! ?Allies and families welcome. This is a safe space for community members of ALL genders and backgrounds. FAQ below:

- Food & Drinks: Bring Your Own! We will have some complimentary beverages and snackies while supplies last. We encourage bringing enough to share.
- Setup: Backyard family movie night in adjacent parking lot, on a projector screen! Bring a chair/seating, ground covering, bug spray, or whatever else you think you'll need to enjoy an outdoor movie on a warm summer night. Otherwise you may have to stand (awkward!).
- Parking: Street! You know the deal.
- Bathrooms: Inside Green Oaks Apothecary from start of the screening until the end <3 Wheelchair ramp outside the building.
- Safe Space Policy: This is an LGBTQ+ affirming, family-friendly event (14+) that welcomes allies during Pride Month. This is a fun & positive space for trans people and people of all genders & backgrounds. Those who don't understand the assignment will be asked to leave.
