CONFRONTING THE STIGMA: PROMOTING MENTAL HEALTH THROUGH FILM, AWARENESS & ACCESS.
This FREE event will feature a film screening, mental health fair, and an interactive mental health panel discussion, in observance of National Self-Care Month, on Saturday, February 9, 2025, at Hostos Center For the Arts & Culture in the South Bronx from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
PERDIDO is a 48-minute film about an African American man who reluctantly seeks therapy from an Afro-Latino therapist after suppressed memories from his past are triggered by a tragic encounter with police.
