Mark your calendars for the upcoming 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (which run from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day).This global campaign, which is a powerful call to action to raise awareness, challenge discriminatory practices, and advocate for an end to violence against women and girls, is also being observed by the UM's Equity Office, which is this year organising an event titled 'Confronting Cyber Violence'.
From 12:00 until 14:00 on Wednesday 4 December, at the Lecture Theatre 1 – Erin Serracino Inglott Hall (LT1), there will be expert talks, a discussion with Q&A and an unmissable networking opportunity for the entire UM community.
