Join The Confrerie du Sabre D'Or & Willow on the Green for an unforgettable evening of champagne, history, and pageantry as Willow on the Green officially becomes a Caveau of the Confrérie du Sabre d’Or! This prestigious designation brings together sabrage lovers, champagne connoisseurs, and luxury aficionados in an evening filled with tradition and excitement.
Ever wondered how to open a Champagne bottle with a sword? Now’s your chance to witness the art of sabrage and even try it yourself under the guidance of the Grand Conseil from France and U.S. representatives of the Confrérie du Sabre d’Or!
All Donations for the event go to our Charity of Choice, the BBS.
Event Highlights:
- Grand Entrance of the US Grand Council of the Brotherhood of the Golden Saber, with traditional Era music (including live bagpipes!)
- Consecration Ceremony of Willow on the Green as a recognized Caveau
- Induction of Alexander J. Sinclair as Maître-Sabreur
- Sabrage Ceremonies: Become a Sabreur or Chevalier and gain international recognition
- Cheese Tastings Reception

Sabrage Experiences & Registration:
Sabreur Experience – $100 (TBD)
- Learn and perform the ancient art of sabrage

- A bottle of Champagne must be purchased separately through Willow on the Green
Chevalier (Knight) Experience – $350 (TBD)
- Receive personal guidance from Grand Maître Jean-Claude Jalloux
- Sabre a bottle of Champagne under expert supervision
- Be formally inducted into the Confrérie du Sabre d’Or
- Receive the distinguished Chevalier Collar and Diploma
