Confidently You: From the Build’em Up Series

GLAMBAKERY Cosmetics and Life Coach De Napoleon have teamed up to host a series of “Build’em Up” events developed to help build positive attributes and ways of being for individuals of all ages. Our very first event in the series, “Confidently You”, will be a fun in the sun time building traits and performing activities that will strengthen your confidence and help give you tools to push past the self-doubt that sometimes holds us back. It is designed to create an environment amongst daughters of all facets to learn, embody and explore attributes that build one of life’s most important attributes - confidence. It will be held on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 in celebration of National Daughters Day. You won’t want to miss this confidence building event!

Event Schedule:

2:00- 3:00PM: "Happy Hour" Kick-off + Icebreaker

3:00 - 3:45PM: Confidence Panel and Activity

3:45 - 4:45PM: Breakout: Confidence Building and Confident Kid Tea Party

4:45 - 5:15PM: Confidence Stations - Recipes for success

5:15 - 6:00PM: Cocktail Mixing and "Tell Me Something Good"

This time will be packed with several fun, confidence-filled activities that will take place throughout the event. Attendees will be able to make connections and leave with swag, confidence toolkits, and a greater sense of confidence that can be used to accomplish their goals. Kids will enjoy the Confident Kid Tea Party while also making new friends and building confidence on their level. Light refreshments will be served.

What to Wear - Dress code is relaxed preppy. Hats are preferred and flat shoes/sneakers are recommended.

What to Bring - Yourself plus your favorite "daughter" and a positive attitude. Oh, and if you want, grab your favorite pair of skates. A few daughters are ending the evening with a few strolls around the roller-skate rink located within the park.

Age Policy - We welcome all ages, however due to the nature of activities, attendees must be over 6 years old to drink our confidence tea.

Health and Safety - This event is being held outside to aid in reducing concerns of Covid-19, however, we must all do our part. We will follow DC guidelines for social distancing and mask protocols. To protect our little ones, we ask that masks are worn throughout the event.
