Have you ever imagined taking your horse on holiday with you and immersing yourself into the wonderful scenery of The Peak District.
Stay 2 nights and awake with the views of your horse out in the paddocks.
Three days of riding over moors and through woodlands and our off road Farm Ride at a steady pace with like minded people.
This weekend is designed around riders who are looking at gaining more hacking confidence with their horses. You will be riding out with like minded people and a ride leader who has rode these paths many times and who's horse is amazing in every situation.
The trials have varied terrain with some river & stream crossings and a small amount of road work - mainly on country lanes. There also maybe livestock, walkers & bike riders on route. The rides will be at a walk and possibly a steady trot if the everyone in the group is happy to do so.
There will be a small group of just 4 riders plus the lead rider and you will all stay together.
The Friday ride will roughly take 1 hour on our farm ride.
Saturday Ride - heading out for roughly 2 hours over The Peak District Moors over looking Curbar Edge, with a small amount of road work.
Sunday Ride 1 1/2 hours over The Peak District Moorland on lovely tracks and a small river crossing. Small amount of road work on country lanes.
We have a 20x40 outdoor arena which is included in your stay, but must be pre booked.
You will also have full access to our farm ride.
Ride times will be given on booking confirmation along with location details.
Check in between 10am & 12pm on Friday and check out at from 3pm on Sunday.
Breakfast, BBQ packs & lunch boxes can be pre ordered before arrival.
Parking is included on the camp site for trailer or box.
Hay can be pre ordered before arrival.
The price includes a 2 night camping pitch, 2 night stay for your horse in one of our paddocks and the 3 days of guided rides.
Prices start from 112.50 per person.
A stable can be hired at an extra cost.
Our camp site offers a portaloo, shower, and a shared kitchen area with a gas stove.
Each horse will have an individual secure paddock. For insurance purposes we can not allow anyone under the age of 18.
We allow tents, caravans, horse trailers or horse lorries per pitch.
