This unique 4 week class is designed for the wallflower dog of any age. Does your dog or puppy need to gain confidence in new settings? This slow-paced methodical course is meant to help you, and your dog gather the skills for the real world. This will be a very quiet class with skill building to build bravery in a new spaces around new things. We will also discuss some basics of fear and neuroscience behind the WHY your dog could be worried. Allowing agency and control for our learners to come out of their shell and giving them small successes to celebrate.Dogs appropriate for this course are dogs who struggle with being :
shy
shut down
worried
not wanting to engage with you in new places
not interested in interacting with novel spaces and exploring
scared of new situations, people, things and other dogs
This class is not appropriate for dogs who exhibit barking, lunging, or pulling towards other dogs or things.
