The EPLO’s Institute for Global Health Emergencies Response (IGHER) and the University of Urbino Carlo Bo are co-organizing the international conference “One Health and protection of coasts: ecological and legal issues” in Rome on 3 October 2025, in cooperation with the OneHealthConference and the Global Pandemic Network. The conference will take place at the Museo Nazionale Romano, Teatro di Palazzo Altemps in Rome, bringing together legal scholars, policy makers, and scientists to explore the protection of coasts through the “One Health” approach. It will highlight the interconnections between ecological, medical, environmental, animal, and human issues, and present insights from the ongoing PRIN PNRR project “From Beaches to Coasts: towards an Integrated Protection of the Coasts – BeProCoasts.”
