At the conference "Displaced Scholars Speak Out" we will hear voices from several countries where totalitarian regimes and war hinder research and the sharing of research based knowledge. Despite difficulties, these researchers continue to convey their specialist knowledge and experience to their peers and wider public in Norway and their home countries.
The target audiences for the conference are staff, students and others who are concerned with academic freedom and the right to free communication. The event is open to the media.
