Come celebrate the one year anniversary of Concessions: The Show (A Journey Through the Four Kingdoms of the Candy Realm) with a very special One Night Only screening at The Lyric Hyperion!
For those that missed the One Night Only Live Show, or for Candy Heads who want to experience it all again, this 4 camera set up screening of the live show will re-capture Concessionist Kel's absurd quest to understand life's intricacies through candy.
Taking place over the course of one shift, Concessionst Kel learns about the Four Kingdoms of the Candy Realm from the help of a mysterious, yet whimsical omnipresent Candy Man. This two person (plus some) absurdist play transitions through themes of love, adventure and ambition, as well as heartbreak, shame, and loneliness. Based on a philosophy the writer of the show created to understand the world and its tumultuous cycles the best way they know how (food metaphors), this play will provide its audience a tasty new way to view the world around them.
