2024-2025 Concerts on the Desert Season
At Saint Barnabas, we are proud to continue our tradition of great music, world-class soloists, and a commitment to this community's cultural life. After each concert, a reception is offered in the Music Center.
All concerts are held in the beautiful sanctuary of Saint Barnabas on the Desert Episcopal Church, home of the Pritzlaff Memorial Pipe Organ. After each concert, reception is. Please take note of the special services throughout the year, and held in the Joseph C. Lincoln Hall of the Gwen Harris Music Center.

Salt River Brass: Brass Harmony

Under the direction of Music Director Julie Desbordes, the Salt River Brass begin their 44th season back on the Saint Barnabas stage. The concert will feature a diverse selection of repertoire from classical masterpieces (including Bach and Strauss) to modern exciting compositions (John Williams). Don’t miss this rousing concert from one of the Valley’s staple arts organizations!

Join us for a wonderful collection of favorites from the organ bench played by our Music Minister and resident Organist, Michael Salazar. This recital will feature the beautiful Mary Dell Pritzlaff Sanctuary Organ, a Casavant instrument framed by the famous Wondrous Love mosaic in our Sanctuary.

Our annual service of Lessons & Carols continues the great Anglican Advent tradition of telling the stories that prepare us for the mystery of the Christmas season. The Saint Barnabas Parish Choir leads this service complete with congregational hymns, choral anthems and Biblical readings.
