Organist Dariia Lytvishko brings her spirited program of organ classics to Pittsburgh, kicking off Music at St. Michael’s 2025-26 concert season.The always-in-demand young performer has received enthusiastic reviews throughout Europe and North America for performances at venues such as Westminster Abbey and St. Paul Cathedral (London), international organ festivals in Paris and Rome, and St. Paul’s Bloor Street Church (Toronto) and St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (Ottawa), among others. In addition, she has shared her artistry through benefit concerts to raise over €66,000 in support of Ukraine. Her new CD “Toccatas and Meditations” will be released next month on the prestigious NAXOS label.
Dariia Lytvishko was born in 1995 in Lutsk, western Ukraine. After studies in piano at the Volyn State College of Culture and Arts, Luzk, she studied at the University of Church Music Herford-Witten, Herford (Germany), where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in church music in 2022. She is currently one of the most sought-after organists of her generation in Europe (around 40 concerts per year).
