The Longmont Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is excited to announce the creation of a new concerto competition for young musicians, established in memory of Mary Alice Tonkinson. We are honored to celebrate her legacy through this opportunity for talented students from Longmont and the surrounding communities. This competition is open to 11th and 12th grade students from northern Colorado, including those in the St. Vrain Valley School District and residents of Loveland, Milliken, Fort Lupton, Windsor, Johnstown, Frederick, Firestone, Brighton, Niwot, Allenspark, and Estes Park. Longmont Youth Symphony members are also eligible to apply.
