This husband ‘n wife acoustic duo is known for their well-crafted and award-winning songs, top-notch lead singing, and fine harmonies. The music of the Twangtown Paramours is sophisticated Americana, a hybrid of the Nashville and Austin music scenes. With a virtuoso blend of guitar and vocals, the Twangtown Paramours are a duo worth watching (and hearing)!
The concert will take place Sunday, September 29 at 7 p.m. on the front lawn.
Please bring your own chairs and/or blanket.
In case of rain, the concert will be indoors on the main level.
Twangtown Paramours consist of Mike T. Lewis (a gradute of Dwight Morrow HS) and MaryBeth Zamer. They are 3-time Kerrville New Folk finalists and winners of the Wildflower Contest in Richardson, TX. Their newest full band album, “Double Down on a Bad Thing” was #11 on the U.K Indie Blues chart last year and #18 on the U.S. RMR Contemporary Blues chart. MaryBeth sang background vocals for the late Eva Cassidy. Mike is a session musician, songwriter, and producer, and is the author of a #1 platinum selling pop ballad in Korea. He also sometimes plays upright bass for Jimmie Dale Gilmore.
