Altra Volta is a 7-voice a cappella ensemble that has entertained the Calgary community for over 20 years. Originally formed as a holiday carolling group, Altra Volta’s signature sound now combines pop, dance, vocal jazz, and other facets of the human voice to emulate various musical instruments. The group has released three studio albums, numerous music videos, and has been recognized with the Norman Kennedy Award at the Kiwanis Music Festival, Best Original Song and Audience Favorite at the Harmony Sweepstakes, and a music video grant with Telus Story Hive.
