Erleben Sie eine einzigartige Mischung aus Tango und Jazz mit der außergewöhnlichen Performance des Juan Pablo Navarro Quartet.
Der Tango-Abend mit Milonga beginnt um 18:00 Uhr mit einem kostenlosen Tango Argentino Tanzworkshop. Nach dem Konzert von Juan Pablo Navarro folgt eine Milonga mit DJ Shahram. Es ist möglich, ein Kombiticket zu kaufen, das Zugang zum Konzert und zur Milonga gewährt.

Über Juan Pablo Navarro:
Juan Pablo Navarro ist eine weltweite Referenz in der Folklore- und Tangomusik und gilt als einer der besten Kontrabassisten Argentiniens. Sein Talent und seine Meisterschaft als Kontrabassist und Dirigent führten ihn zur Zusammenarbeit mit großen Namen wie Richard Galliano, Uri Caine, Stefano Bollani, Joe Lovano, Vinicius Dorin, Horacio Salgán, Leopoldo Federico, Nestor Marconi, Diego Schissi, Chango Spasiuk und vielen anderen.
Nach vielen musikalischen Erfahrungen ließ sich Juan Pablo Navarro auf der zeitgenössischen Szene von Buenos Aires mit seinem Septett nieder. Heute kanalisiert er seine unaufhörliche musikalische Suche in ein Quartett, mit dem er seine künstlerischen Konzepte zum Leben erweckt. Seine fesselnden Kompositionen sind inspiriert von den Harmonien und Rhythmen Argentiniens und vor allem vom Tango.
Kühn erforschen die Musiker eine Vielzahl von Techniken, Improvisationsmomenten und Stilen, die von traditionellem Tango und „klassischer“ Musik bis hin zu modernem Jazz reichen und die Grenzen ihrer musikalischen Sprache erweitern.

La soirée Tango avec Milonga commence à 18h00 par un atelier de danse Tango Argentin gratuit. Après le concert de Juan Pablo Navarro, une Milonga animée par le DJ Shahram aura lieu. Il est possible d'acheter un billet combiné donnant accès au concert et à la Milonga.

À propos de Juan Pablo Navarro :
Juan Pablo Navarro est une référence mondiale dans la musique folklorique et le tango, et est considéré comme l’un des meilleurs bassistes d’Argentine. Son talent et sa maîtrise en tant que contrebassiste et chef d’orchestre l’ont amené à collaborer avec des grands noms tels que Richard Galliano, Uri Caine, Stefano Bollani, Joe Lovano, Vinicius Dorin, Horacio Salgán, Leopoldo Federico, Nestor Marconi, Diego Schissi, Chango Spasiuk, entre autres.
Après de nombreuses expériences musicales, Juan Pablo Navarro s’est installé dans la scène contemporaine de Buenos Aires avec son septuor. Aujourd’hui, il canalise sa quête musicale incessante dans un quatuor, avec lequel il donne forme à ses concepts artistiques. Ses compositions captivantes s’inspirent des harmonies et des rythmes riches de l’Argentine, et surtout du tango.
Audacieusement, les musiciens explorent un large éventail de techniques, de moments d’improvisation et de styles, allant du tango traditionnel et de la musique « classique » au jazz contemporain, repoussant ainsi les frontières de leur langage musical.

Es Tango Belgium and Alter Schlachthof Eupen (Eupen Cultural Center) are pleased to invite you to an exceptional evening dedicated to Tango Argentino on Saturday, June 7, 2025. Come and experience a unique blend of Tango and Jazz with the exceptional performance of the Juan Pablo Navarro Quartet.
The Tango evening with Milonga starts at 6:00 PM with a free Tango Argentino dance workshop. After the Juan Pablo Navarro concert, a Milonga will be held with DJ Shahram. It is possible to purchase a combined ticket giving access to both the concert and the Milonga.

About Juan Pablo Navarro:
Juan Pablo Navarro is a world reference in folk music and tango, and is considered one of the best bassists in Argentina. His talent and mastery as a double bassist and conductor have led him to collaborate with great names such as Richard Galliano, Uri Caine, Stefano Bollani, Joe Lovano, Vinicius Dorin, Horacio Salgán, Leopoldo Federico, Nestor Marconi, Diego Schissi, Chango Spasiuk, among others.
After many musical experiences, Juan Pablo Navarro settled on the contemporary scene of Buenos Aires with his septet. Today, he channels his incessant musical quest into a quartet, with which he brings his artistic concepts to life. His captivating compositions are inspired by the harmonies and rhythms of Argentina, especially tango.
Boldly, the musicians explore a wide range of techniques, moments of improvisation, and styles, ranging from traditional tango and "classical" music to contemporary jazz, pushing the boundaries of their musical language.
