Heather Pierson is a singer/songwriter and pianist with a passion for cultivating joy, both onstage and off. With a toe in each of the realms of New Orleans jazz, blues, and folk, her multi-genre songwriting places her in a category all her own, one honed by decades of diligent practice and curious exploration. She will be accompanied by her stalwart trio – bassist Shawn Nadeau and drummer Craig Bryan (best known to OLS audiences for their yearly-sellout rendering of Vince Guaraldi’s classic ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas). This night will also feature a full frontline of top tier regional talent: Davy Sturtevant on cornet (who previously toured nationally with Heather’s Acoustic Trio); Mountain Top Music Center executive director George Wiese on trombone; and beloved Exeter Academy music faculty member Charlie Jennison on reeds. Come on out for a joyful evening of music that will move your body and renew your spirit!
