Concert "Singing Robert Burns" - Kirsteen McCue and the UofG Chapel Choir

Experience the songs of the Scottish bard Robert Burns live as sung by Kirsteen McCue with support from the University of Glasgow Chapel Choir.

Kirsteen McCue is Professor of Scottish Literature and Song Culture and was Co -Director of the award-winning Centre for Robert Burns Studies at the University of Glasgow (2011-22). She has published widely on Romantic song culture, including essays on Lord Byron and John Clare, and on Robert Burns’s songs and musical responses to Burns’s work.

The University of Glasgow Chapel Choir provides music for services and events in the chapel and elsewhere. It also records and tours nationally and internationally, has recorded several CDs, and is available for weddings and memorial services.
