The Heartwood Quartet are one of the most exciting up and coming quartets from the north of England. They have previously: been featured as Quartet in residence at the Lake District Summer Music Festival, studied with the European Chamber Music Academy and received coaching from some of the UK's top chamber music ensembles.
First violinist, Dylan Latham, has previously performed at the festival with the Franco-Mendes Quartet and in this very exciting opening concert at Enys House will be rejoined by two members of his old quartet (James Warburton and Stefan Rogers) for a performance of the infrequently performed string sextet version of Mozart's much loved Sinfonia Concertante K364.
