CON MÓR, The Giant will make his way to King John's Castle courtyard on Saturday, October 18th through to Sunday, November 2nd, which will transform to play host to a bespoke Halloween experience.
His name is Con Mór and he comes from an ancient Island of Giants off the coast of Connaught. Con Mór was so famous across Ireland for his love of birds and nature, his friends used to call him The Bird King! He is known as belonging to the legendary Tuatha de Danann tribe.
On the evenings of the 18th, 19th and 26th October and 1st and 2nd of November, Con Mór will come alive with sound, light and smoke.
Visitors will be able to wander around and experience the structure up close.
Please note: The production lasts 15 minutes, though visitors are welcome to remain for up to 1 hour. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is an outdoor event on a gravel surface.
