COMTO DC Service Event at DC Central Kitchen

During the service event COMTO DC members and friends will provide food prep support to DC Central Kitchen (DCCK). The food prep shift will consist of preparing fruits and vegetables to assist with the meals distributed for the week, alongside some DC Central Kitchen staff and Culinary Job Training Program students.

Note: After registering on Eventbrite, all volunteers must register on the DC Central Kitchen Volunteer website and digitally sign a General Liability and Waiver form. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old to attend. See the step by step instructions below:

Step 1: Create your account in the Volunteer Portal here: https://dcck.appianportals.com/dcck-volunteer-registration

Step 2: Select "Create an Account for Group Registration."

Step 3: Follow the correct prompts to proceed through the registration. When you choose “Type of Volunteer Experience” be sure to select Corporate/Organization. Then search for your group “HNTB Corporation” in the portal. Please do not skip this step!!

Step 4: Continue to fill in the additional requested information.

Step 5: Digitally sign the General Liability and Waiver form. Note: The COVID-19 Vaccine Attestation form is optional.

Final step: Select the “Sign Up” tab at the top of the screen to go the calendar and view shifts. Select the Feb 25: 6pm-8pm Food Prep Shift then click the button to sign up. After completing this, You are signed up and all set!!!
