Discover the power of computing at Harrisburg University’s Computer Science Day! Students will dive into hands-on experiences inside our state-of-the-art classrooms and computer labs, exploring how computing shapes the world around us. From coding challenges and software design to research in information systems and advanced computing, participants will gain a true sense of what it’s like to study Computer Science at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.Throughout the day, students will take part in team-based challenges, working together to solve real-world problems through collaboration, creativity, and coding. Guided by HU faculty and current Computer Science majors, participants will experience firsthand how computing drives innovation in fields ranging from Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity to Computer Science, Information Systems, and Advanced Computing. HU will provide lunch for all attendees.

The schedule is designed to give students both a taste of university-level learning and the excitement of working on challenges that mirror real industry projects.
