Compson Place at Renaissance Commons, 1880 N. Congress Avenue, and Hurricane Grill & Wings will host an evening to benefit a local charity, Awesome Greyhound Adoptions, on Saturday, November 8 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.
Guests will enjoy food and drink specials, $5 Greyhound specialty cocktails, and the opportunity to win exciting raffle prizes. Meet adorable greyhound puppies and adult dogs, while learning about the life-changing mission of this charity.
Hurricane Grill & Wings will donate 10% of all sales throughout the event and Compson Place will donate to the charities.
Awesome Greyhound Adoptions is a non-profit organization run by volunteers dedicated to finding responsible, loving homes for racing greyhounds that no longer qualify to compete at the racetrack. These highly trainable dogs are given the chance to find placement as pets, as therapy dogs or as full-trained service dogs for veterans. The charity’s Hounds & Heroes program specifically supports veterans by defraying the high cost of trained service dogs,
