Tax Deposits and Filing a Return to Report Your Payroll Taxes- we'll explain the
federal tax deposit process, deposit requirements and penalties, and show you
how to file any of the following: Form 941, Employers Quarterly Federal Tax
Return, if you are a quarterly filer; Form 944, Employers Annual Federal Tax
Return, if you’re designated as an annual filer; and/or Form 943, Employer's
Annual Tax Return for Agricultural Employees, if you're an agricultural employer.
Hiring U.S. Residents Who Aren't U.S. Citizens- you'll learn
how to verify an employee's identity and status with proper
documentation, withhold federal taxes at the proper withholding or treaty
rate, deposit or pay the tax withheld properly, and file accurate and timely
withholding tax returns.
Sheba Gonzalez is a Stakeholder Liaison with the Internal Revenue Service. Her mission is to establish relationships with tax professionals, industry stakeholders and others working with small business owners to share tax information and ensure compliance with everchanging tax laws. She represents the IRS at many face-to-face and virtual seminars and events where she discusses IRS policies and procedures, tax law updates, and emerging issues. Mrs. Gonzalez began her IRS career as a tax compliance officer for the Small Business/Self-Employed Division.
Prior to joining the IRS, Sheba worked 10 years in the private sector as an enrolled agent and general manager for one of the top 5 tax prep companies. When out of the office, Sheba likes to spend time with her family, preferably camping and fishing
