At this free outdoor workshop, participants will learn how to build, manage and utilize a home compost pile, and how worms transform household kitchen scraps into a rich, fine, and nutritious soil amendment for gardens and house plants. Through the County of Santa Clara, our program offers discounted backyard composting bins to Santa Clara County residents who attend our workshops. We are currently distributing the HOME composting system and the FreeGarden EARTH composting system, to all who qualify. Details will be emailed after the workshop is attended
