Regular use of compost will improve your garden soil and will keep your lawn healthy. Compost Value Day offers Londoners an opportunity to help their garden and local charities at the same time!Residents are encouraged to bring their pails, bags, or recycling bins to load up on some compost. The compost is produced from the City’s leaf and yard waste, and we ask for a minimum donation of $4 for 30 litres. Pre-bagged compost in re-usable bags can be purchased for $5/bag if you don’t have a container. Larger containers and truck-loads are priced out individually.
Proceeds at the London Food Bank location in the south support the Boys' & Girls' Club of London and the London & Area Food Bank.
We start at 8:00am SHARP on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 and finish at 12:00pm SHARP.
