About this Event
Welcome to Composting!
Come join us for a fun and informative outdoor class where we will explore how compost happens, and how to make it work better for you. Learn about different composting methods, greens and browns, carbon to nitrogen ratios and how to use your compost when it's ready.
The event will include a compost pile demonstration, and tips on how to better manage your own compost pile.
Admission is free, but registration is required.
Please bring a folding chair, hat, water bottle and be sure to wear close-toed shoes!
This free class is presented by UF IFAS Extension Duval County Master Gardener Volunteers in partnership with Dig Local.
