Civic Orchestra of Jacksonville begins its 9th season with Composers of Courage, a family-friendly concert that is sure to delight. The October 12th concert from 4-5pm at St. Paul’s By the Sea, featuring an all female composer line up, will include works like The Wrecker Overture by 20th century composer Ethel Smyth, Scherzo for Orchestra by Agathe Backer- Grondahl, Chaminade’s Callihoe Suite and more.
