Join us for an 8-week workshop series focusing on digital literacy and online citizenship offered by writing instructors from the University of Memphis. Each week we will discuss a different topic, including data privacy and digital security, using online tools ethically and responsibly, using critical analysis to avoid misinformation and scams, navigating the online job market, the basics of professional online communication, and more!This week's session will focus on helping participants with creating job application documents such as resumes and cover letters along with learning how to send professional emails in the career search.
Participation on a computer is required, so bring your own laptop if you have one. A limited number of laptops will be available at each session.
