About this Event
This unique workshop is an opportunity to share your progress and refine best practices for your organization. We will begin with an “elevator pitch” exercise with each attendee taking the mic to share why you serve with your organization. We will then review the three duties of governance, legal requirements, and useful documents for excellent operations. We invite you to bring governing documents from your organization to review with our team and share with other nonprofit volunteers and staff. This session is less of a class and more of a collaborative workshop where participants can fully interact and bounce ideas off one another.

For this session, please be prepared to give a 30 second to 1 minute “elevator pitch” speech to the group
Bring your Mission Statement, Bylaws, Board Member Commitment Form, Strategic Plan, and any other documents you would like to workshop
