ABOUT THE SHOW:
“Shakespeare as it was back in the Bard’s day: bawdy, irreverent, sublimely entertaining.” -- The Miami Herald
THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (abridged) was born when three inspired, charismatic comics, having honed their pass-the-hat act at Renaissance fairs, premiered their preposterous masterwork at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1987 and quickly became a worldwide phenomenon, earning the title of London's longest-running comedy after a decade at the Criterion Theatre. THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED) is one of the world's most frequently produced plays and has been translated into several dozen languages. Featured are all 37 of Shakespeare's plays, meant to be performed in 97 minutes, by three actors. Fast paced, witty, and physical, it's full of laughter for Shakespeare lovers and haters alike. There is never a dull moment in this hilarious production!

FAQs
When should I show up?
If you do not purchase advanced reservations, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to showtime to stake out your space. If you purchase a reservation, you may arrive anytime before showtime. Your seat isn't going anywhere!
Is there an actual stage?
NO. The play will be performed under the giant poplar tree in the center of the lawn.
If it is a free show, why are you selling tickets?
All of our productions offer different options depending on the kind of experience you wish to have. If you're a family of five, you should probably attend the show with a blanket, chairs, and a picnic. If you are a couple that wishes more of a date night feel, reserving two seats with an add-on VIP package or the Grog & Mug Package might be more your thing. It just depends on your mood and your pocketbook.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This event is ALL AGES, however, all alcohol purchases are for those 21 and over, of course. Be sure to have your ID handy if you are craving some beer or hard cider.
What are my transportation/parking options?
The library is accessible by Tri-Met bus or by taking the Max and walking a few blocks south. Visit trimet.org to get door to door results. If you are driving, we suggest parking along one of the side streets on Saturday or Sunday. You may park in the library lot after 6pm on Friday.
What can I bring into the event?
You may bring blankets, a picnic, snacks, and of course, ALL of your family and friends! But please do not bring any outside alcohol, fireworks, firearms, or pets.
What's the refund policy for pre-purchased packages?
There are no refunds on reservation purchases at any time. BUT, we are happy to accommodate moving your reservation from one night to the other, depending on the availability of the performance you wish to see.
Do I have to bring my printed reservation to the event?
No, we will have your reservation on file. Simply check in with your name at our concierge desk and we'll get you squared away!
I am out of town this weekend! Can I catch the show elsewhere?
YES! We will be performing the show each weekend through August 8. Please visit our website at www.experiencetheatreproject.org for times and locations of our other shows.
