About this Event
This meditation series includes three classes (1 hour each) across three different Saturdays. These classes will guide you through multiple styles of meditation to help kickstart your mindfulness journey.
Class 1 (November 16, 2024): Meditation 101
Introduction to meditation including tools you can use to ease into the practice. Resources will be provided to help you personalize your own meditation techniques to fit into your daily life. Includes a mini meditation session.
Class 2 (November 23, 2024): Bodyscan Meditation
This will be a guided meditation that encorporates a focus on our own bodies. Maintaining focus during meditations can be difficult; learn how a bodyscan can help pull your mind back to center.
Class 3 (November 30, 2024):
Art Meditation
This is the last day of our meditation together! We will summarize all that we learned in the previous two classes, but this time throw in some art making. Learn how art can help you achieve a meditative state.
