Beginners Acro Yoga with Shell
This 2 hour workshop with take you through the fundamentals of acro yoga. Working in partners and groups of 3, we’ll warm up with partner calibrations, then have a go at basing, flying and spotting. All 3 roles are equally important in acro!
Learning to move with another human and get inverted can be a little scary at first! Giving up that control and working together to create shapes and flow. This workshop with help you find trust and learn to communicate in a safe and supported environment.
Acro yoga is a unique practice where you not only learn to move with another, but it also invites us to learn how to communicate clearly, trust others, and keep staying playful! Acro yoga is a great starting point for anyone who has an interest in circus or standing acrobatics and enjoys working with other people. We have a huge community in Bristol, so come and join us!
