The Merit Competition is a vibrant showcase of photographic talent and enthusiasm, unfolding across three distinct rounds. Each round is divided into two categories—Novice and Advanced—with separate contests for Print and Projected Digital Images (PDI) within each category.
Every stage introduces fresh themes and creative challenges, encouraging participants to experiment with various techniques, styles, and storytelling approaches. Whether it's mastering composition, playing with light, or conveying emotion through imagery, photographers are given a platform to grow and express their artistic vision.
This competition not only highlights technical skill but also nurtures personal development and a deeper appreciation for the art of photography.
At the conclusion of the three rounds, up to four winners are honoured during the season awards evening, celebrating their outstanding achievements and contributions.
