About this Event
Compassionate Conversations is an awareness training session delivered by St Elizabeth Hospice that is aimed at helping participants build the skills and confidence needed to enable open, honest and sensitive conversations around end-of-life, loss and bereavement, while identifying ways to help and support others. It will cover:
- Breaking down taboos and myths about death, dying and bereavement and normalising responses to loss
- How to have honest and compassionate conversations with people who are living with illness or people who are bereaved
- Identifying ways to help and support others through support services
- How Compassionate Communities are making a difference through simple acts of kindness
- Q & A session
