Compassion Tables 2025 is a Thanksgiving community outreach event dedicated to sharing warmth, dignity, and nourishment with families in need. We will be providing 250 hot, to-go Thanksgiving meals at the South Bowie Community Center. This event is free and open to the public, and no registration is required to receive a meal—simply arrive and be blessed.Our mission is to not only feed families, but to uplift and show compassion to our neighbors during the holiday season. Meals will be served from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, or until food runs out.
We are seeking volunteers with a heart to serve! Volunteer opportunities include meal prep, serving, greeting families, distribution support, and cleanup. Volunteers must register in advance using the QR code on the flyer.
If you are unable to serve in person, donations are appreciated to help sustain this initiative and support future community projects throughout the year.
