Join us for a special family-focused event highlighting the issue of childhood homelessness in San Francisco.About this Event
Compass is thrilled to invite you to an engaging and inspiring event for families! We will be joined by local children's book/middle reader author Christie Matheson, author of the book Shelter, focused on a day in the life of a fifth grader in San Francisco who is experiencing homelessness.
The event will include:
- a discussion with Christie and Compass experts on family homelessness
- fun and engaging volunteer activities
- an onsite bookshop provided by Books, Inc. with books available for kids of all ages on the topic of homelessness
- a basic needs and book drive for children currently experiencing homelessness in San Francisco
