Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival- MOVEMENT“Heart Still Beating” is an intimate evening-length dance work that follows the journey of the heart along its countless pathways. It weaves together choreography by Company | E’s Artistic directors Paul Emerson and Kathryn Pilkington, along with founding member Robert Priore and Ukrainian choreographers Anastasia Kharkenko and Kate Kurman, all to a score by the incomparable Zoe Keating.
Using chairs as props or as installations in the space, 7 dancers perform contemporary movement and ideas, interacting with each other and depicting emotions and themes from life today that connect us to one another. Love, family, friendship, strife, sadness, and ultimately, community and strength carry the work forward.
