Community Zine Workshop to Shape Bridge Spot

Bridge Spot  is getting an upgrade.

Part informal playground, part canvas for community art, Bridge Spot, or the 2nd Street Underpass, has been a not-so-hidden gem for years. Capitol Riverfront Parks Foundation is working with members of the community to give the park a design refresh.

To make the park welcoming and functional for the wide range of skaters, athletes, artists and residents who have made it such a dynamic space, we want to bring as many people into the design process as possible.

That’s where you come in.

Help shape the space by voicing what you like, need, and desire —and flagging anything that’s missing or giving you pause.

Participate in a community zine workshop to explore Bridge Spot’s potential. We’ll have art supplies and prompts to help guide creative brainstorming. Not so into arts and crafts? We’ll also have site maps, case studies, and opportunities to provide feedback in the lobby.
