Community Work Day at Montrose Farm!
Come join us for a fun-filled community service day! We'll be getting our hands dirty and working together to maintain our farm. It's a great opportunity to connect with your neighbors, provide support to our farmers and give back to the community.
No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to pitch in!
On-Farm Volunteering Reminders:
- Closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED to volunteer. Work boots are best.
- To avoid certain hazards, wearing long sleeves, long pants, and long socks is highly recommended (due to fire ants/bug bites).
- Wear sunscreen and dress appropriately for weather conditions.
- Bring a reusable water bottle/water to stay hydrated. (We will also have a tap water source on-site).
- Bring small snacks if needed to keep your energy up.
- Invite a friend! The more the merrier!
- Parking is street side only - avoid reserved, university or residential marked spaces.
