Join us on Saturday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Central High School’s new gym for the Community Wellness Fair — a day full of activities, health screenings, and family fun. Kids can enjoy a dedicated Children’s Fun Zone with face painting, balloon animals, storytelling, a fun run, and trick-or-treating, plus music from the ShenCo Ukulele Circle. Community members can take part in fire extinguisher training, door prizes, and giveaways, while also accessing a wide range of free or low-cost health and wellness checks, including blood pressure, glucose, BMI, vision and hearing tests, CPR and AED demonstrations, pulse oximetry, body composition, and flu shots. Educational displays and hands-on activities will also be available, covering topics such as coping skills, nutrition advice, blood donation, MyChart, medication management, and healthcare career opportunities. Concessions, Sugar Creek Snowy, and Sweet Ice Cream will also be on site to enjoy throughout the day.
