About this Event
Community Waterscapes is a three hour heritage workshop which explores Hull's history of water and flooding though objects, memories, stories and archives. It invites you to explore Hull’s long and important relationship with water and think about what living with water means for you today.
Throughout the workshop we will share stories about Hull's history of flooding from the time of the Tudors through to the modern day. You will be invited to discuss, map and creatively explore your own relationship to water in the city through objects and memories.
We would love it if you could bring along to the event: an object, photograph, story, or memory that demonstrates your connection with water in Hull as we would like to share these as part of the morning's activities.
Community Waterscapes provides a valuable opportunity to share and explore what water means to you and the city in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Refreshments will be provided
We look forward to seeing you!
