Community Walkthrough Woodbridge Road

Join us for a walkthrough of Woodbridge Road. We want to explore your neighbourhood with the people who know it best - you!

We will take about 45mins to walk a short section of Woodbridge Road and look at the existing transport infrastructure to determine if it is good enough for the needs of the local community. Before the walk we will have a brief discussion to tell you about how we will assess the street and we'll have another quick chat when we get back to go through what we've found.

Community Walkthrough Woodbridge Road

We are considering improvements for walking, wheeling and cycling on Woodbridge Road between the roundabout with Heath Road near the hospital and the junction with Beech Road east of Rushmere Common. The vision for Woodbridge Road is to create a safe and efficient route for all road users, that also links up to other routes for walking and cycling. We want to make it convenient for people to walk, wheel and cycle in the area as well as make bus journeys more efficient. Providing safe and convenient alternatives to driving a car will increase the range of transport options for those that do not always want to drive or are unable to.
