Community Walk: Granton Harbour; Gateway to the World
Walking together around Granton Square and Granton Harbour - history, nature and art.
Since 1838, Granton Harbour has stretched out its arms to welcome incoming people and trade, and exchanged goods and services. These arms also protect. As a gateway to the world, it has an interesting history and debated and can beaseen as a symbol of openness. Let's walk, look and discuss together!

We will tour the square and it's historic buildings, look to the future as well as the past. Then explore the harbour taking in some art and nature.
Free or by donation.
Everyone welcome. Must will be pavement walking wth an option for a very short trip across a patch of wasteland to the Western Breakwater.
