Spring is on its way, and it’s soon time to get the DSC ready for the season! Join us on Saturday, April 12 from 10am to 2pm for our Spring Community Volunteer Day!We’ll be tackling a variety of spring-cleaning tasks, including sweeping, raking, window washing, dusting, and removing snow fences. Every little bit helps make the sanctuary a safe and welcoming place for visitors when Open Days resume. But don’t worry, it won’t be all work! Expect plenty of laughs, fresh air, and the company of some very curious donkey onlookers. They love to supervise our efforts!
Interested in lending a hand? Be prepared to dress for the weather, layers are best! Wear closed-toe shoes or boots and bring work gloves. We’ll be working rain or shine! Reach out to [email protected] to sign up. We can’t wait to see you.
