Join the Buckthorn Bandits at Two Moon Park to continue the restoration and beautification of our local park. Volunteers first began working in 2021 to remove the invasive tree, Common Buckthorn, from Two Moon Park. Common Buckthorn produces a poisonous berry that harms our local songbirds who stay in Montana during the winter. Since 2021, over 30 acres of parkland have been cleared, making way for planting parties!
Volunteer help is needed to plant over 60 native trees and shrubs, install deer cages, spread wildflower seed, and pick up litter. Tools will be provided. Please bring sturdy work gloves, and sturdies shoes.
