Marissa Byrum is the Director of Communications for Shell's Feed & Garden Supply located in Tampa, Florida, is a today's guest on the Sustainable Living Radio show. As the person in charge of marketing and community outreach for Shell's, she has the privilege of interacting with the community on behalf of the store. Shell's Feed & Garden Supply is so excited to be celebrating 60 years as a family owned and operated business this year serving the Tampa Bay community, and as the needs of the population around us have changed, our store has adapted and brought in new things to help backyard gardeners, farmers, and pet owners too, while still maintaining that nostalgic feeling of stepping in to yesteryear. We love it when several generations of a family visit us and we hear stories of how their parents brought them here as kids to see the live animals, and now they're here with their kids to do the same thing. Marissa has been a gardener for most of her life, learning from her Dad when she was a young girl, and while she wouldn't consider herself an "expert", she has practical knowledge that she's happy to share!
